Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples is an American performer and actress. She received the best recognition for her performance as Layla Grant in the drama series Nashville (2012) as well as Claudia Shepard in Sharknado (2013). In addition, she played the leading character Jerrica Jem Benton for the movie Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. There is a younger sister Ally. Aubrey was a member of Orlando Repertory Theatre during her youth. She was the valedictory speech of her school during her time at Lake Mary Preparatory School. Harvard University accepted her but agreed on entry twice the second time to accept her role in Nashville. Peeples made an appearance on the screen in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011, Grey's Anatomy (2005) and Grey's Anatomy (2005) as and Grey's Anatomy (2005). She also had a recurring character in Necessary Rustiness (1991). She made television movies Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009 and The Good Mother). The actress was cast in a major recurring role in the second season of the drama show Nashville in which she played Layla Grant. In 2019 Peeples acknowledged having bipolar disorder in an interview in NKD Magazine. Indiewire listed Peeples among the top actors who is under twenty-one in September 2014.
